A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional and physical support to mothers before, during, and after child birth. Asra Ahmed, the woman behind Labor With Love, is a passionate mom. Her journey to becoming a certified doula began with her curiosity about different birth cultures and the advocacy of lowering the risk of having a c-section. Her experience as a birth doula extends from the United States to the United Kingdom. Having a background in biology and psychology, Asra also worked as a nutrition coach who helped empower women who are active in sports. It is through her diverse learnings and experience that Asra is now able to offer a unique set of prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula services that can be customized for every mom.
At Labor With Love, all our DFW doula services are based on various scientific studies and research. From incorporating positive affirmation, meditation, yoga, to behavioral psychology and anatomy and physiology, we continuously innovate and improve ourselves to give the best support for clients.
